Pursuit of Perfection: where there is no scope for errors

Pursuit of Perfection: where there is no scope for errors

About Me A 30 year old independent girl (oops women, I am grown up now) from India.  MBA by education and Sr. Analyst by profession  in Investment Banking, who recently quit her job of 5 years to explore more and  to live more.  From 3 months since the time I quit my job I have been exploring places, culture, people etc. and capturing the things which move me as a person.

Unknowingly, I started photography from 2004 with my Kodak Point and Shoot Camera and then moved to Canon Digi Cam in 2010.  After facing the limitations of my  DigiCam I was curious to know about DSLR and use it.  I used to rent in or borrow DSLRs from my friends as I couldn’t affort an expensive cam that time.  When I was sure that my  interest in photography is something which will not die out of me  and its more than an interest, I made a decision to pursue this as a career. I finally got my own DSLR (Canon 60 D) in June 14. I have been doing photography from 4.5 years as a hobbyist and for small projects

My Passions: Traveling, Photography

Other Hobbies: Painting/sketching , reading etc

Why I love Photography: As a kid we were always taught any subject as a ‘Science OR Arts’. For me Photography is both ‘Science AND Arts’. Science, in understanding the technicalities of photography and Arts in composing the shot and the thought behind it. I believe if we ignore any one aspect of these two, a shot is incomplete. Photography helps me in understanding myself more and moving towards making something complete or perfect.

Drivers for a better shot: If I have to sum up the major drivers that help me in taking better shots it would be: my past mistakes/faults in photography; to get an experience or to live a life of someone else; pursuit for excellence; breaking  down own my comfort zone

Through my photography I would like to showcase the things which we have forgotten or have become insensitive or we take it for granted and don’t appreciate in our day to day life. I like documenting  stories through photography
