About jomel

We're a young married Australian couple in our mid 20's. We met doing the uni thing in Wollongong in 2001, and 4 years later ended up in Sydney doing the corporate work thing. Jo worked in IT and Mel (moi) in business marketing. After 3 years staring at a computer screen in the office, and getting married in 2007 we felt the pressure of the next natural step to get a morgage and have kids. Neither sounded too appealing so we decided to pack up our lives, sell most of our belongings and see some of the world instead!
