Jo and Hayley's SEA tour

Yay an overcast day!

We woke today to an overcast day, so its a lot cooler, however the rain has arrived and is torrential. Shouldn't last too long, hopefully, so we can take advantage of the day. We have all been sick, but now on the mend. We went out and had a few drinks, I had the bright idea of killing my illness with alcohol, was a fun night but I paid the price yesterday. Hayley enjoyed herself, had a good dance at the Apple bar, which is a new backpacker place that has opened here. The DJ was playing western dance music, and the place was packed. We spent a few nights at a nice guesthouse, the Axar, and now we have moved to the Hon Tam Sea and Sun Hotel. A bit of luxury for a couple of nights, this hotel has only been open for a couple of months and is pretty spiffy, huge bed with the best mattress. We are on the 7th floor and the view over the beach and Nha Trang city is fantastic.I really like Nha Trang, the people here are friendly and the bay is pretty. We will stay here for another two nights and the head to a place called Tuy Hoa, which is a smaller coastal town. Should be interesting, as not on the tourist trail. The food is great, had Indian again last night, great value. We found some electronic scales in our room, and we haven't lost any weight (surprise!) but we haven't gained either, so pretty happy. Love to all!

Hi Kids,,good to see that you are all in recovery mode.I definitely agree with fighting illness with alcohol,,its well proven, only fools would disagree.
It was nice to hear Hayleys voice yesterday, she was reassuring about (all) your health,I did suspect that you may be unwell,,,anyway your accommodation sounds very swish, and of course the food is always mouthwatering.
Its almost 3pm here and I'm expecting to see your mother hauling her ass into view sometime soon.I'm looking forward to hearing about her bowling exploits. She took plenty of grog with her,,and I dont expect to see much of it get back here.
Anyway, the racehorses are calling me, (I'm a bit surprised that neither of you seem to have inherited that particular vice) Take Care,, Lottsa Love,, Mum n Dad xxxxxx
