Arrive Saigon

VIETNAM | Monday, 26 July 2010 | Views [201] | Comments [5]

We have arrived safe and sound! Good flight with Vietnam Air, a lot of spare seats so we scored well. Hayley slept for most of it, don't know how she does it, can sleep anywhere. Checked into the Liberty 3 Hotel, no worries and then headed to the Bi Saigon for a really good dinner. It was nice to go back there as it was our start and end point to our trip last year. We were recognised and well greeted. For dinner we had chicken in curry sauce, fried rice and crispy chicken in lemon sauce, yum yum. Today we are heading to the botanical gardens and zoo. Hayley cut her toe, not too badly, but enough to knock out water based activities for a couple of days. The weather is overcast, but hot and muggy. Suits us because the direct sun can be brutal. Will take a couple of days to get used to. Love to all!

Hi Possum, sounds like your in the right place with all that yummy food. Get some betadine onto Haleys toe god knows what floating around in the water over there.
Enjoy yourselves the weather here is mediocre at best should be getting snow and stuff later this week if you can believe the weather people. Looking forward to following the adventure while your away.....sure beats looking at nutty crims.
