My Name is Johannes Frank Johannesson I live in Iceland. I work as a Sign Maker but my hobby are photographing and Icelandic landscape is what I shoot the most and I seam to like to include abandoned houses and things in my images ;-). As everyone how has photographing as there hobby I'm always looking fore new places to see and explore. My wishes for my future is that I can learn to take photographs of people and mix that with landscape photographing but I think I´m to shy ;-) to start this but I´m going to learn this.
I grew up in the west part of Iceland in a small village where live depended on the land and what it could give you so I learned to hunt and work early in my live or around 12 years of age. Rapidity changing weather and long winters thought us to respect the land and Nature and I often think this translate in my images as I often look to make my images dramatic and often I use the weather to help my do this and I fiend that on a sunny day I do not shoot any images I'm waiting for heavy clouds and strong wind ;-)
I´m a self thought photographer I began to shoot images about 5-6 years ago, I like to learn and explore new places to look for new and interesting things and people I have traveled to other country's but newer to just shoot photographs so I hope to get a change to change this in the future.
