Locals using the tracks as a makeshift footpath but making sure to keep up their speed!

Fellow passengers asleep aboard the train in the middle of the day. Apart from playing cards, making conversation and looking out of the window, this was the only other option.

A fellow Russian passenger I met and befriended whilst aboard the train. Alexandra was a farmer from a village near Lake Baikal whom invited me to go tiger hunting. A very funny and interesting character. He also loved A shot of vodka at 7am.
