No i didn't spend the weekend in the bath as everyone seems to think but in the town Bath about 3 hrs outside of London. Caught the bus early sat morn and arrived in Bath around 11am. Checked into our hostel which was a ymca one and had heaps of facilities such as a tv area in the lobby with heaps of couches where you could watch tv, go on the internet, read etc. Went down to the thermae bath springs and the line was out the door so we decided to give that a miss for the day. I went off to the Jane austen museum which was great and went a bit mad in the gift shop with Mr Darcy souveneirs. oh well... when in rome. Jayden watched 'football' in the pub. Then we walked around bath and checked out the sights.
Saturday nights went as most do. Drinks at a bar and then some yummy tapas. There were a whole heap of pony fags who obviously where rich wankers with Leonardo dicaprio haircuts circa 1995 which amused us.
Sunday we did get into the spa. Was so relaxing and after a lot of coaxing Jayden got me into the sauna. Lunch and wandering around the shops and then an hour or so relaxing by the river. Very nice chilled out town. Planning our easter break now. can't wait.
