Sightseeing and being a tourist

Had a fantastic night friday night at brick lane in east london which is like lygon st but with indian instead of italian. A good meal and a good bottle of wine beer etc. Had dinner with jaydens old school frined dylan and a heap of his mates. Was good company overall. then went to a bar down the road but only stayed for a few as we had to get the last tube home.

Dragged ourselves out of bed this morning (sun) in order to get a full day of sightseeing in since yesterday (sat) we were pretty lazy and spent the day sleeping in and waltzing around the shopping centre. So today Got the bus to the Imperial War museum which was fantastic. They had a two floor holocaust memorial/exhibition and a whole heap of stuff on world war 1 and 2. Didn't even look at half the museum as it was so big and we wanted to walk around for a bit during daylight so we will save the rest for another day.

After that we walked to big ben and the parliament buildings. huge! London eye as well but i think it was closed for some reason today so we didn't ride. Then we were walking down the street and waltzed into a changing of the guard inspection and dismissal at whitehall buildings. They had horses and everything. very english! Then we walked to trafalgar square and took photos like tourists. he he. Then got the tube home to the warmth. mmmm. Overall a very touristy day but lots of fun.

Have attached photos for you to peruse. Next weekend is australia day weekend and we will celebrate that in style even though we aren't there.
