Floating Village on Tonlé Sap river in Cambodia

My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

A main dirt-road leading towards the floating village, with some rickety-looking shelters put together on the banks of the river, forming a make-shift shelters for some people who cannot afford to make a floating house. Every time river swells due to rain, every single structure ends up under the water and in ruins. This community have been incurring hardships for generations.
