Smith's Beach, Yallingup

Against all predictions, it was a sunny morning – so back to the beach.  Smith's Beach is a picturesque stretch of white sand and turquoise water all but 100 meters from our apartment.....with nobody on it – all for us.

After lunch we took a drive along the coast road down to the wineries of the Margaret river region.  Neither of us are particularly cellar door junkies so we didn't do any tasting but we did enjoy the art works that many of the wineries now have as part of their selling point.  Some commanding sculptures and a few outstanding pieces of indigenous art.

Home to our little apartment by the sea and snuggled into bed with a movie whilst a gale begins to blow outside.
