Lane Poole Reserve W.A.

Decided to stay another day by the river.

We're surrounded by rich bushland with giant eucalypt and Jarrah trees. As we sit having our morning coffee we are visited by vibrantly coloured birds and hear the kookaburras calling in the distance. Bliss.

We needed a few more supplies so headed to the mining town of Pinjara. Able to access the internet at the local library to make sure the world had not changed too much and then back to the campsite via another 4x4 track.

Took to the river this afternoon to have a good wash and shave so we're both looking a little more respectable again. Cocktails by the fire, Spaghetti bolognaise for dinner.

There's something very special about sitting under the Australian skies at night - looking at the stars and being warmed by a camp fire. How Gay!
