On
the end of the Mojave Desert.
We're
standing on the edge of the Mojave Desert sipping on Sangria and
Margaritas. We're with the beautiful Danilo, the beautiful, Scotty
and his partner the beautiful Phillip. Scott and Phillip are two
outstanding ceramic artists who now live out here. They have created
a whimsical environment that is at once at odds and in complete
simpatico with the natural environment. The house is infused with
their creativity and we all had such a wonderful night.
But
getting there was a story in itself. We started the day on the coast
– traveled through canyon country into the desert. Then we headed
via the foothills into the Sa Bernadino Sate Forest and the town of
Big Bear City. It was there that we realised that we were hopelessly
lost. Finally we arrived at Scott and Phillip's intriguing home and
were met with open arms.
