Today
was our downtown experience day. Nic took me on his downtown
Shopping Experience. Visited Sax on Fifth Avenue to replenish our
perfume stocks via the ever so helpful staff who even though we
didn't purchase anything, delighted in foisting sample bottles onto
us ... what could we say, Yes! Visited the Sir Francis - amazing art
deco building. Popped into Gumps, Macysand the Ritz for a pee. (Nice
bathrooms)
Dinner
with the beautiful Gina and Victor at a local cafe then out for some
time on the town. Atomic dog still going and Sophie keeps everyone
under control.

The
Castro is the gay centre of the city. We're staying bang on the
crossroads of Castro and 18th street. Today we discovered
the joys of this area by foot. Strolled through shops and checked out
the people. We headed for Delores Park and spent a few hours in the
sun topping up our tans and enjoying the world going by. Saturday
afternoon lazing in the sun – nothing could be better.
Victor
took us to one of his favorite restaurants tonight, just a few blocks
down the road from his house. Again, the food was outstanding and the
company extremely convivial. We finished the night in Boy town. (but
not too late).

The

Today
we reached the end of our second week on the road, we are both just
beginning to relax into the groove of the journey - work seems a
thing of the past; we are smiling all the time; the world is so damn
sexy.
Today
was a late start then a picnic lunch in Delores Park. This time the
San Francisco Symphony was there for a free concert. A Picnic rug,
fresh rolls, the SFO, gorgeousness everywhere – ahhh summer in San
Fran. (evidently, the weather is not normally this good). Stumbled
across an old friend (also cute) in the park from my times spent in
SF in the 90's.We caught up with Gina for a quick final goodbye then
Leon joined us for one last dinner at Victor's place.
