9th July
Today
was our day by the pool. Spent the day chilling by the pool, doing
the washing and then tonight we went to a local Luau. Food was good,
show was .... we left after 15 minutes (enough said). Funniest
moment was at the communal dinner tables. Jim was sitting next to a
grandmother from Colarado who said “are you travelling with your
son?” :))
Friday
9th July
Our
third flight for the trip – back to Honolulu. We arrived to a
welcome lei from the wonderful Ron &Priscilla (Shelley's godparents).
Ron and Priscilla picked us up and then took us on a tour of the
island. We spent the afternoon on Waikiki beach then headed into the
valley to Ron & Priscilla's home for champagne and dinner at a
local restaurant. We had a hoot of a night and it was greattocatch
up with Lani as well.
Ron
droped us back to the hotel and we headed off to the local boy bar –
Hula's, around the corner from our hotel. Great fun to have a boogie
with the locals. Nic had his ass photographed with the phone number of a sweet but unknowen local girl.
Our
first stop on the trip is over. Sun, sand, scenery – what a great
way to start our adventure.
