Walking is a very common mode of transportation in Bangladesh. Unfortunately, sometimes barefoot is the only option for citizens. Here a young girl gives her feet a break while dangling in a tree. (Chittagong, Bangladesh)

I often wonder who decides that being barefoot is unfortunate.

It is actually the most natural and common way to walk and to live.

For every 40 cars on the road in a developed country, there is one bus transporting the same number of people, or more, in Bangladesh. (Dhaka, Bangladesh)
