yes, yes, i know, technically im on one big long holiday... but today and yesterday were yasumi!!! thats right! 2 whole days off work, in a row! i didnt know what to do with myself!
before then, since my last day off i had 6am starts everyday, so of course first i took the chance to sleep in... then the morning was spent doing all my washing... woot. exciting times... and then, for reasons unknown, well, really to try and be kind to my rib, i decided it would be a good idea to go to Jusco, the local supermarket and 100yen shop complex thing... yes, thats right, 1hr walking each way... and home, laden with heavy bags, is of course uphill... what was i thinking?! i think i wouldve been better off boarding anyway... which is what i may have spent a fair amount of time today doing, so its all good :D we're all getting pro! i can even half do jumps! yeah... its the landing half that im having issues with... kinda inconvenient really, i should really work on it...
last night was spent making up for all the walking and boarding and generally being horrible to my body though, as we decided to go to a real onsen! there is something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a tub where you can see the stars and the snow when you look up... and the mineral rich water was pretty incredible too. so much softer then the usual bath water. not to mention the pink tiles in our ofuro just cant quite compare to a night sky...
and then, to cap the night off, we went for a few drinks and games of pool! what more could a person want really?! well, maybe winning said games of pool would've been nice... but what can you do...
so not looking forward to having to actually work again tomoro... but then i do have a 1030 start, so sleep in!!! woohoo!!!
until next time, ive run out of interesting things that've happened.. really all we seem to do is work and board, till all the days blur together and you lose all sense of time...
