October 8th 2011. Possibly one of the happiest afternoons of my life. So, I found this beat up, abandoned bike about a month ago. I have been staring at it collecting more dust in my apartment for some time now thinking to myself - this is going to be a real challenge to get fixed - it will simply require too much energy and money before it ever rides smoothly. Well, was I ever wrong!
No only did my new ride cost me absolutely nothing to get fixed, my first ride was so joyous because the weather was mild, the sun was shining, and I got to experience Seoul from an entirely new perspective! So amazing! The bike culture here is alive and hard-core. Definitely comparable to the aging hiking culture!
I grinned from ear to ear the entire afternoon away!
