A Motor Boat or a Sail Boat?

CROATIA | Tuesday, 5 September 2006 | Views [1004]

I can't quite decide which one I want to buy to cruise up and down the Adriatic in. The coast of Croatia is on par with the best Australia can offer but can probably go in front as Australia cannot offer the old towns that Croatia can offer or as many islands (Croatia has about 1100) to explore. This part of the world is one very beautiful place. Huge mountains rising out of the water on one side with small islands on the other. Little townships dotted along the coastlines and many sail boats cruising between. Tommorrow I might just have to hire a boat and go for a spin. The water is as clear as glass and calm. Dubrovnik was beautiful but tourist ridden while Korcula is a lot smaller and quiter as the accomodation is restricted to prevent it being over-run by tourists. I'll be in Hvar (another island) next then Split before flying to London.
