Bits and Pieces

While I wait for some photos to upload I thought I'd try and remember a few things to share. One of the funniest, at least from Adam B and my point of view was when Adam P had his match ticket for the Brazil-Ghana game lifted from his pocket.
We were on the train packed in like sardines so it was easy for somebody to do. At least, easy when somebody like Adam P who is not the most streetwise traveller, leaves his ticket half visible in his pocket.
We decided to go to the ticket service point to see what we could do because luckily for Adam, the ticket was the one ticket that we had received through the public draw so had his name on it. At the ticket service point we were directed to a 'ticket trouble shooter' who said we had to go to the police. Easy enough as there were plenty around. The police said Adam had to wait with them until somebody came round and collected him to go into the stadium.
Adam B and I went in and waited to see who sat between us. We knew Adam P's ticket would have been sold to somebody else and about 15 minutes after kick-off an American sat down between us. 10 minutes later security came and got him. He had Adam's ticket in his hand and Adam was carrying his passport so it was not going to be a problem for Adam. The American had paid 250 Euro for the ticket. Another 10 minutes later Adam finally got to his seat - 35 minutes after kick-off!
Adam P can now add one match ticket to the list of things he has lost. He has already lost his camera at the Fan Fest in Munich after he left his bag open. When will the young lad learn?
