After the Croatia game we made our way North to Heidelburg for a couple of nights then onto Neustadt for a couple of nights. Neustadt is only 25 minutes East of Kaiserlautern which was handy for the big match-up against the Italians.

Unfortunately we did not have the greatest of days that day as I'm sure you are all aware. We were just completely stunned. Adam P and myself just sat in our seats for a good 15 minutes after the final whistle because we just could not believe what had just happened and could not move. Australia played some of the best possession football I have ever seen our national team play, even before the Italian's went a man down. Sport can be cruel and Football the cruelest of any sport. My money is now on the winner of Germany versus Argentina to win the Cup.
