Hi Jeff,
my colleague and I are writing a biology book in Dutch, to be distributed in Belgium and the Netherlands. I was wondering whether we could use your picture of the Lady Amhurst pheasants courting (Mauritius, 14 October 2007). We are donating our royalties to a local environmental organization, Natuurpunt (www.natuurpunt.be). Hoping to hear from you soon,
best wishes,
Bert

I amalsoi a breeder and yes this beautiful pheasant is a hybrid from Gold Pheasant and Lady Amherst. We call him RAINBOW Pheasant and it cost more that the Pure Bred but in some occasions they are infertile.
