2007 Adventures My dream adventure - To motorcycle across the USA!

Garmin's advice worked!  Pretty stupid though having to remove the battery to reset the unit and needing a tiny alan key to do so.  The unit didn't need updating as it has the latest software.  But I am suspect about the battery as it is still not working from it.  Maybe it is flat.  But it is working in the bike mount and from mains power.  So now I am programming the routes and I am off to Boone to find a ski shop to buy a neck wind breaker and a fleece, as it bloody cold outside.  Thankgod it is sunny.  Today I am riding the Blue Ridge Parkway road that goes for about 150 mi and magnificent windy roads.  But is 10:30am already so I need to pull my finger out.  Yeaha...! :)
