Fantastic!!! Bring it on, ready to holiday now after a great nights sleep, about 11 hours, I feel a million dollars. Breakfast Mmmmm! so many choices hot, cold, personalized omelettes cooked while you wait, bacon, tomato, pancakes pastries, fruit, toast, etc. etc. Three courses just sets you up for the day. Mmm! Mmmm!

Today we are going into Patong for a look around and some shopping. On the way we came across an accident where a tree had fallen on a car and killed the passenger. The traffic was banked up for a few minutes but we got past fairly quickly. The car from the resort dropped us off in the middle of town at the shopping centre, but we wandered off to the markets. it is so interesting and you find yourself bartering over the cost and when you think about it later you have probably saved yourself $1 or $2, but it's the fun of it. Everything is so cheap but it sounds dear because 150 barrt is $3 so you are dealing in hundreds and thousands of barrt so you try to get it as cheap as possible.

We bought a few things, shoes for Jordan, jocks for Jordan and Gerard some little shoes and a dress for Ava and a dress for me. We stopped at a bar for a drink and we were advised not to eat there by an Aussie couple, you have to be a bit careful and make sure where you eat is clean and they wash the dishes properly and prepare and store the food properly. The beer was nice and cold and refreshing.

We walked through the town and we were just so amazed with all the shops and everyone wanting you to buy from them, it is so competitive.

Once we met up with all our crew, we went to one of the places where you put your feet in the fish tank and the fish eat all the dry skin off your feet. Honestly it is the weirdest sensation, it feels like pins and needles and fuzziness all at once. Truly odd, can't say I enjoyed it but I can tick it off as done. My feet do feel nice and smooth though. We have the funniest photos of the five of us sitting in hysterics with our feet being chewed.

To get back we hired a tuk tuk, the funniest thing ever, we bartered to save 50barrt on the trip, and this poor little tuk tuk with seven adults in it struggled to get up the hills and yet we passed cars and trucks. It wasn't exactly scary but there were moments when you got a little concerned for your safety.

We got back safely and decided to go down to the beach for dinner. We ate a beautiful meal of seafood for dinner, bbq'd crab in tamarind sauce and pawns etc. The dessert was exquisite.
