Bullett’s Birthday Trip – The Road Trip to Rocky.
Day 3 – Bathurst to Dubbo
Breakfast at McDonalds, no it wasn’t included in the cost of the Motel room, and we headed off to Dubbo. We arrived at the Zoo about 11.30am and commenced our trek in search of interesting animal photos.
What an amazing place it is. You can drive your car from exhibit to exhibit and just wander over for a look, or a little walk to see the various species. We had a lovely afternoon and took lots of photos. The weather had been absolutely beautiful and in fact it was quite hot at the zoo, so we headed for the cool of our Motel room.
Dinner that evening consisted of beautiful fresh bread rolls filled with lovely smoked chicken from the Poachers Pantry, salad and sun-dried tomatoes, washed down with Merlot and followed by fresh cherries, eaten on the balcony, while our washing was in the machine. So romantic!
