So the song goes!! We are at the airport and waiting to go. "Bored before we board." I have decied that getting ready to travel overseas is a very stressful time. All the things you have to remember and then, when someone (a certain husband of mine) can't find his jeans at midnight the night before and then starts to panic it all gets a bit over the top. A mother's look located the recalcitrant pants, that were hiding under a shirt in the cupboard all the time, who would have thought they would be there?
Well, what with getting the dogs clipped, moving mum and dad into their new unit, job hunting, lack of sleep and Gerard stressing about work etc. it has been a very busy couple of weeks. But we have made it and here we are. The bags are packed, what we have forgotten is bad luck and now we just have to wait to get going. I am sure we will sleep on the plane.
