My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Once there was a boy who couldn't keep his hands away from his dad's camera- an old Zenit 11. This boy was always trying to understand how the camera works and always wanted to have one of his own. Then he grew up a bit but still wanted to have his own camera, so that he could capture moments and show the beauty of the world the way he sees it. Before he had the chance to get his own camera he never missed the opportunity to take photos with someone else's. Time passed and it was last year when he finally decided to do this for himself- he bought it despite of his financial issues and with no help from anyone. Until now he kept trying to learn more and more about this sort of art led by the pleasure that comes after taking a nice for him photo without having no one to teach him how. And that boy- now a man is me. I believe that having a chance to get this scholarship is the best opportunity to learn many things not only by myself, to get a close look into the real professional photography and last but not least to experience the joy of traveling, seeing new places and cultures.
