Suddenly next year has turned into this year and next month has now become this month and in 3 weeks today I'm off! I can't believe it's crept up so quickly when its been in the planning for so long.
So I'm mostly organised; I've moved out of my house and put those things I didn't sell on eBay into storage am staying at my boyfriend Luke's unit til I leave. I've had more needles than a pin cushion and with a fistful of visas in my passport and some money in the bank; I think I'm nearly ready to go!
And its just as well really, cos I think I'm in danger of becoming seriously addicted to shopping at Kathmandu and forever purchasing only those items that are compact, lightweight and versatile. I just know that somewhere out there are nail clippers that also double as compass, torch, personal alarm, mosquito deterrent and mobile phone. Maybe I could try eBay...
