A 'place' I have visited - "Cuba an Ideological Paradise"

In my early 20s I lived life how society and parents expected me to; I went to school, got a degree and got a job. I guess fortunately for me the wife and family chapters of life hadn't transpired thus far.
Working at an accounting firm in rural Australia, every day I would sit and stare blankly at my computer screen pondering my existence, “this couldn't be life”! So I quit my job and booked a one way ticket to London. A broken heart and the monotony of my life saved me from a life of normality and led me to my true passions. Travel and that incredible art form that comes hand in hand with travel… Photography!
Today I've visited over 35 countries and documented the world’s people and its nature through countless photos. By capturing a moment through the viewfinder it allows me to share a story about a place and its culture. A self-taught photographer, trial and error is how I've evolved my craft. I feel this is where I could really benefit from the scholarship. With Jason’s guidance and mentoring I can expect to build on any existing skills that I may already possess. Becoming a professional photographer is now my dream and working with Jason might just help me achieve it!
