This photograph of my grandmother I've added to show some portraiture and also to show the more important things in life, family. We live a suburb away from each other, but she is still a regular part of my life. I also added this photograph to contrast with my next photograph of my 2 week old niece.

This landscape photograph was taken while I was working through my community on the way to my grandmother's house. Walking there gave me the chance to actually look at the area that I usually drive past. It seems a lot more appealing then it does when you drive past. Again I wanted to highlight an area that no one usually pays attention to, and show it's beauty.

My niece in this photograph is 2 weeks old, and she is already a major part of my life. I took several different types of photographs of her, but this one looks so pure and beautiful, she is again part of my daily life and therefore my community.
