Aspiring Humanitarian

Testing 1, 2, 3.  This is my 1st attempt of a travel journal.  Sitting in CCU 7 North station looking outside, trying to stay awake the remainder of my shift.  Dr. Kregenow is here and he's teasing me about my paranoia about infectious diseases.  Danica is also here tonight and we can't help but giggle when we pass by each other. In between patient care, I'm trying to put together my travel packet.  In it, I have my flight info, insurance info, copies of my passport and credit cards, 53 pages of infectious disease literature that is prevalent in West Africa (courtesy of the NP from the travel clinic.) I suppose I can read the material on the long flight there to help induce sleep.
