An old Nubian passer-by rests from the heat of the sun of a hot summer day by putting his head on his shoes and taking a little nap on the floor of the stairwell of a total strangers’ house without asking it’s owners for permission to do so.

An indonesian international student is studying inside the Azhar-mosque under the sun's golden rays which coming through a small opened window up in the ceiling.this mosque used to be an important distenation for eny student who is interested in Islamic studies.

A Tanora dancer performs a SUFI dance during the Cairo festival for religious SUFI music.this festival is held once a year inside the Obet El Ghoury ancient theater which was built 1300 years ago.
