Day 19

AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 11 May 2011 | Views [381]

Today was drive and see where we end up day. We did the normal routine, cup of tea, breakfast, pack the tent up. We decided to have some pies for breakkie today instead of cooking.Once packed up we went to fuel up before setting off. It was dirt road all the way today and the original road to Innamincka was closed so we had too go a bit out of our way.Had a couple of detours and a couple of gates to open and close.Wildlife was still a plentl again today so saw the normal. Roos, dingo, birds and Emus. We stopped off at a lookout for lunch and was entertain by 2 old farts on the UHF radio. It was quite amusing listening to their crap. We had decided to drive till 16:30 then look for somewhere to camp. This is exactly what we did. We found a Dam about half a K off the road and pitch there. Once the cattle had wandered off. We lit a fire and put the Billy can on. We ate and drank a few beers and there was no ne else around. It was an excellent bush camping experience, I'd recommend it to anyone.Once we had our fill of beer and wine and JD we retired to bed.We did 438 Kms today
