I am a daughter, a wife and now a mother. Ever since I got my hands on my first camera (belonging to my father), I have been engrossed with snapping the best possible photographs. I know that a perfect shot is usually one in a million hence I used to purchase a lot of films(days before DSLR). My mother used to berate me for wasting money as she said that I'm not going to make a career in photography. She's right. I'm not. Photography is a passion. I am not looking to make money. I want to be able to immortalized the world as I see it. I would want that opportunity to be guided and experience the wonders of the world without being too mainstream. I will never have such opportunity knocking on my door anytime soon in Singapore. Hence I am not letting this go. It has always been a dream to get my pictures on the walls of National Geographic. Maybe one day my dream will come.
