Its A Hard Life

Uganda is a fantastic place!! The people are so friendly and dont hassle you the same way they have elsewhre.  It made walking around the markets a much more pleasant experiance.  The food section was amazing - all sort of weird & wonderful things..some we recognised, some we didnt.  the ones we did made the ones at home just look pathetic. The avocados were HUGE..pushing 20-30cm long, and they are soooo tasty.  We could have spent hours wandering around, but more important things awaited - G&T sunset paddle.

Basically it was just several canoes & one big raft towing the bar behind it.  We paddled around, watching the sunset & sipping on our drinks. There really wasnt much else to it, just a nicer setting than just sitting at a bar.  It wasnt really a late one because the big paddle was to come the next day.

sounds like a pretty awesome way to enjoy a G&T and the markets remind me of the PNG days
