Winding trees, making intricate patterns and providing shelter for the birds. The average height of the tree in this area is about 5meters, twisting around each others, and almost preventing the sun from reaching the ground, where root like structures stick up out of the soil like straws for breathing.

“Qurm” tree, the local name for Mangrove, has been for centuries growing along the coastal area.Creating green forest all year round, Its unique ecosystem offers a habitat for many marine organisms including species of fish and shell fish, at same time protecting the land from erosion.If it wasn’t for the efforts of the local environmental activists, with the help of the government to preserve this forest, and declare it nature reserve, such natural beauty would have been replaced by concrete buildings and roads by now

The ground is alive with many organisms, including the pneumatophores, Root –like structures stick out of the soil and act as a breathing apparatus for the trees. Scattered on the ground are fiddler crabs, when seen from far look like tiny paper shreds or white speckles , any movement make them rush into their burrows
