Snap Happy at Lake Matheson

UNITED KINGDOM | Friday, 31 October 2008 | Views [405] | Comments [1]

This has to be one of my favourite places in New Zealand.  Lake Matheson is featured in calandars of New Zealand as the reflection of Mount Cook and Mount Tasmen show in the lake, very pretty setting.  We arrived at sunset time, after spending the day at Franz Josef, and were quick enough to walk around to the view point to see the sun setting on the snow capped mountains.

We were there for a while and I did get snap happy taking about 150 photos.  It will be difficult to choose which ones to develop!
