My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi World Nomads! I'm Samantha - a desperate, begging, will-do-anything competition entrant. I've landed myself in an office job in Sydney, Australia, and am trying incredibly hard to pave my way to a new lifestyle in which I can roam free, learning about new cultures and traveling to every obscure nook of the world. I’ve spent the past few years working tirelessly on my writing and photography skills, whilst trying awkwardly to plump myself out on social media. This would be the game-changing, big-break I’m praying for.

These photos were taken on a recent trip to Nepal. I was overawed by the diversity - both in the landscapes and cultures - that spanned Nepal's relatively small landmass. Despite the challenges that face both refugees and Nepalese nationals, every person I encountered during my visit held an aura of calm and warmth.

Fingers crossed fate returns me to Nepal in the very near future.
