Horouta is my canoe. Karuwai is my marae. Raukawa Ngata and Asimina Topalsavvas are my grandmothers. Wairarapa Hamon and Mihali Chrysochoou are my grandfathers. Lydia Hamon and Steve Chrisohoou are my parents. I am Asimina Hall.) I'm not your typical applicant. I'm older, a young 36 years old and I'm also a Mum to three wonderful children (13, 12 and 11 years old). But these are also some of the reasons why I am perfect for this scholarship. With my maturity and life experience I see things in more depth and detail, the seemingly simple things are so much more. As a mother I'm all about capturing 'the moment', I live for those moments, seeking them out and enjoying every single one. When I take a photo my goal is to treasure/preserve a memory/moment as well as inspire as I also share a part of me in every photo.
