An old clinic, an unfinished mosque, was conserved. On this day its a playground.

Cultural Heritage is undervalued and garbage dumps are a use for many of these sites. A group, 'Athar Lina,' is working towards building a relationship between the neighborhood's heritage and the community.

Children from El-Khalifa were given a rare chance to play in an open space. At this moment they have gathered to paint Egyptian flags on each other's cheeks.
