Speaking of food ,they say Arequipa is the place to try Cuy,otherwise known as guinea pig. Carlos gave directions to a Picanteria known in the area for preparing this unusual dish. Roccoto Relleno, Cuy Chacdado and Chicha de Jora were some of the dishes we tried. The guinea pig was deep fried and tasted a lot like chicken.Cookie and Dave were having a great time  too! The four of us having this traditional meal at a  Picanteria with a fantastic view of El Misti was an experience that will stay with us for years to come.
