Scientists and adventurers scale this mountain at Necko Harbour. A break in the clouds imparts slithers of transient silver light, a constant reminder that mankind will always be at the mercy of the natural world.

As you float through this abstract world, you begin to see familiar things staring back at you in the grand ice sculptures. The “Iceberg Graveyard” along the Pleneau Peninsula would surely have tormented those who were stranded here with bittersweet visions of home.

The retreating summer snow reveals unexpected details in a shallow cove off Wilhelmina Bay. Over time the decaying remains of human presence become inseparable from the landscape.
