In this shot despite only being a small figure in the shot, my brother still becomes the focus, this demonstrates I believe how seemingly barren the Western Coast can appear at times.

This was shot right from by the coast near where I was renting, where in the distance you could see the rather imposing holy mountain Croag Patrick with a long path leading off to it.

I used to shoot a lot flowers back when I lived in England but in Ireland living on the coast the often harsh conditions meant a lot fewer types of flowers, this is one of my favourites because not only does it survive, it thrives.
