    This shot I got very recently and I think it captures what I've come to associate Ireland with, a calm, simple kind of understated beauty. Views[266] Normally a calm and beautiful spot, this was shot at Runagh Pier on the West Coast of Ireland. On this day however, a large storm blew in off the Atlantic and allowed me to capture a much more ferocious kind of beauty. Views[382] I used to shoot a lot flowers back when I lived in England but in Ireland living on the coast the often harsh conditions meant a lot fewer types of flowers, this is one of my favourites because not only does it survive, it thrives. Views[279] In this shot despite only being a small figure in the shot, my brother still becomes the focus, this demonstrates I believe how seemingly barren the Western Coast can appear at times. Views[278] This was shot right from by the coast near where I was renting, where in the distance you could see the rather imposing holy mountain Croag Patrick with a long path leading off to it.
