My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am currently taking a summer course in photography in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have a huge love and passion for both photography and traveling. My parents have travelled to every corner of the globe with me. My goal is to explore a new side to photography and to tell a story that captivates people. I want to capture the world how I see it and touch people's lives with my images.
Like I said. I love to travel, and I want to travel a lot more in the future, and I want to take pictures and document my travels.
I've never visited Greenland, but would love to visit it's beautiful landscape. If I got this experience I would be beyond exited and happy. The opportunity to work with a professional will broaden my perspective and appreciation for photography even more.
I hope to use photography in my line of work in the future (I am majoring in media and communications in college). I love to blog, but want to improve my photography skills to fill it with beautiful images.
I also feel like this trip will open my eyes to a new culture, new people, and give me wonderful experiences and memories that I will cherish forever. I think this trip will allow me to grow immensely as an individual.
