Traveling is my passion

My name is Gaithri, I was born in Sweden and have lived here most of my life. However I have travelled the world mostly thanks to my parents. This has sparked an interest in me to learn about different cultures, people, lifestyles etc.

I am still at a beginners stage with my photography, but I have a large appetite to learn as much as I can. I think it's a beautiful artform, but it's also a way to capture those unforgettable moments in life, and a way to preserve memories. For me photography is incredibly therapeutic, I am a very creative person and like to push myself into making new discoveries through creativity.

Besides photography and traveling I have a huge love for fashion, music, acting, dancing, writing etc. I love food, and I enjoy meeting and befriending people from every corner of this globe. In the future I hope to have a job that is very creative, and that requires traveling. I feel like this scholarship will help me to accomplish my dreams and goals.

Thanks to my travels I have learned to appreciate the more simple things in life. It has taught me to be very grateful for what I have, but my travels have also enriched me with experiences. It has opened my eyes to the world, and I feel like I have become a more open minded and loving, caring person because of them. I have experienced everything from monsoon floods in the beautiful land of India, to playing in the waves on Waikiki beach, Hawaii.

I will try to update here whenever I take a trip somewhere. Whether it being a spurr of the moment thing, or thoroughly planned. No matter the distance.

I will blog about my experiences, both good and bad. Hopefully you find me interesting.
