The Maha Maha Kumbh Mela is the biggest religious gathering in the world and the whole human history. It is mainly meant for Hindu people, but anyone can go there. More than 100 million people go to visit a holy place near Allahabad where three holy rivers come together - for two months, from 24th January till 15th March. This one was the biggest, that happenns only once every 144 years. A whole city gets build especially to host the pelerines. Camps, hundreds of temples and many religious ceremonies are happening every day. A great organisation made by the government, where the army, police, health ministry, transports were all involved to make it successful. I had the chance to attend the biggest event that took place on 10th February, which is the main bath. More than 30 million people gather at the same time around the Sangam to take a holy bath. The Naga Sadus have to be the first people taking the bath very early in the morning. A great opportunity for him to learn about the religion, the traditions and the people.
