I was walking through the courtyard of the Louvre when I spotted this man standing next to one of the ponds. He was taking pleasure in feeding the seagulls while they took pleasure in perching on top of his head.

This was taken at a multicultural festival in Paris. As anyone who has been to Paris can tell you, it is often lacking in color, which is why I was so stricken by these Polynesian hula dancers. They were so vibrant in contrast to the grey of their surroundings.

A friend and I were walking to the metro in Paris when we heard this huge brass band doing radio covers. In the middle of a song, the son of one of the players shyly walked over to his mom with an instrument of his own, at which point the other band members crouched down to join him at his level.
