I was raised in a big family in a tiny town in the midwest. My small house was jammed with 4 kids, 2 adults, a variable number of species (fish, turtles), a cat, a dog and lots of books. Since I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s, I didn’t have the internet or cable to keep me amused, but I had something much better--my siblings and neighborhood friends. We spent our days watching TV shows (like Gilligan’s Island, the Brady Bunch, and Leave it to Beaver), playing Barbies, creating imaginary cities on my dining room table, traipsing through the countryside on adventures, and making each other laugh.
I have written 7 books and am currently working on my autobiography. I have delightful stories that demonstrate faith, strength, and persistence.
I love to eat! And love to travel. My family knows me to try all sorts of food. I am a foodie and love to try new foods and discover where they came from.
