A teeny roundabout on James St., arched over by an interesting piece of public art. Even at slow speeds, car tyres would squeal on the cobblestone road as they spun around the circle.

James Street in Northbridge, an inner-city suburb just north of Perth CBD, in fact about a 2 minute walk over the train tracks. It promotes itself as a separate area though from Perth. Northbridge is known as the bar and restaurant hub of Perth, as well as backpacker-central, with at least a dozen hostels within a few small blocks of each other.

A close-up of the roundabout, but wait, what does it say on that screen in the background? I had no idea that was there when I took the picture. It's in a little park that shows random TV shows, documentaries, live events and so on. I guess on this day, they knew I was coming.
