Further parkland along the Swan River, leading up to The Narrows, where the Swan really opens up into a wide lake. Kings Park is through the trees on the right. Most days in Perth are pretty much like this: sunny, blue sky, 20 degrees, wonderful. Although there can be periods of heavy rain in the winter, the city is one of the sunniest in Australia, getting around 3,000 hours of sunshine per year.
